Its been close to a month now since we received the re-released 3DS versions of Pokemon: Red Blue and Yellow which has given us plenty of time to re-live some of that old nostalgia of OG pokemon battles. It’s definitely been a fun adventure back in Kanto. We thought we would share some of the thoughts we had with some of the more hilarious moments that come from picking up the original games after 20 years of Pokemon game advancement.
1.) Oh Man I move slow.

4. ) What do you mean poison sting was super effective on caterpie?!?!?
5.) HEY BUTTERFREE IS USEFUL EARLY ON!
6.) Flipping singing jigglypuff!
7.) Alright a Zubat! I’m gonna catch you and make you a Cro…oh wait this is Gen 1. Nvm, BEAT ALL THE ZUBATS
8.) Yeah! Clefairy! Oh wait no fairy types. DUECES
9.) Woot nugget bridge good times
10.) THAT MEW GLITCH ACTUALLY WORKED????
11.) oh man Gary did have a Raticate, I totally forgot about that….This is gonna get sad
12.) Ekans wrap is doom….
13.) Oh yeah Special defense and Special Attack used to just be one stat
14.) GEN 1 PSYCHIC TYPES ARE UNSTOPABLE
15.) Except for by other psychic types…
16.) WHY AM I STILL HOLDING THE B BUTTON
17.) I know that I already caught mew….but im gonna do the secret truck thing anyways
18.) WHAT DO YOU MEAN GHOST TYPES DON’T WORK ON PSYCHIC TYPES????
19.) oh yeah I can buy a Dratini In Celadon city…that seems pretty sketchy now that I am an adult…
20.) TIME TO STOMP THE POKE-MAFIA
21.) Yup, definitely murdered a Pokemon. This got dark real quick

23.) POKEFLUTE = INFINITELY USEFUL
24.) Scyther…you used to suck
25.) Bug types…..ALL OF YOU ARE USELESS
26.) But Chansey…man you rock
27.) Oh hey Articuno is useful again
28.) AERODACTYL! BOUT TIME!
29.) Yup Lance is still a pain
30.) Yup finding out that Gary already beat the elite four is still as infuriating as it was as a kid
31.) I AM NOW THE VERY BEST. LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS!
