Yes Folks. Splatoon 2 is real. The rumors of an HD remake were wrong and we are instead getting a sequel!
Splatoon 2 is happening and will feature a brand new dual weapon that not only gives you an edge in combat but also gives you a great speed boost as well. The will bring back several favorite features from the original including Super Jump. The game will also feature online play as well as now featuring local multiplayer as well!!! There will also be online events and stage and weapon updates as well. Look for Splatoon 2 in the summer of 2017!
